Torrance received high marks for the quality of education available and amenities such as parks and cliemate, but surprisingly low grades for health care facilities, especially with 2 of the largest hospitals in the area, and one more just outside its borders. Still Torrance was the only South Bay city and on of a handful in Southern California to make the list of 100 cities selected from more than 1,700 nationwide.
Also making the list was Pasadena (20th), Alhambra (21st), Santa Barbara (37th) and Santa Monica (44th).
It's good to know we have yet another measure that we live and work in a great city!
